KDE’s source code control system is SVN. We are preparing a move to Git, and some developers are already using it (often using the git-svn bridge), but we’re still mainly using SVN.

All the I wrote above is actually a conspiracy trying to cover up late-night rituals, involving binary code crystal balls and large copper magic potion kettles. Check out the Bubblemon Plasmoid and you see what I’m talking about.

Thank you for bloging this. It’s been entertaining, interesting AND enlightening indeed. For me, it was one of those areas within KDE where the only thing I knew is that some magic was going on. And now you tell me that those packages don’t appear on the server by magic… :-)
